TT Group granted planning permission for 89 new homes in Watford

We have been granted planning permission by the Planning Inspectorate for the redevelopment of an underutilised former BT car park in Watford town centre into 89 new homes, following a successful planning appeal.

Plans to replace the car park with high-quality new homes spread over buildings between five to eight storeys, were initially refused by Watford Borough Council in May 2023.

As a result of the Planning Inspectorate’s decision, the site, situated between Wellstones and Exchange Road, will contribute to the revitalisation of the town centre and activation of the area.

In addition to the residential component, the planned scheme will also add to the availability of high-quality commercial space, delivering 95 sqm of new ground-floor commercial units.
