We have built a reputation across the UK for creating bespoke homes. This project repurposes a local landmark with striking design and exquisite craftsmanship to deliver homes that offer buyers both heritage and modern living.
Architects Lee Evans Partnership conceived a design to blend the original 15th-century features together with contemporary architecture. The result is a unique collection of residences with each home offering beautifully curated interiors with natural finishes and neutral tones, whilst being fitted with the latest technology, including EV charging points.
The first phase sees six homes brought to market on the High Street by Strutt & Parker, comprising of three refurbished and three new build homes, each with three bedrooms with prices starting from £670,000.
Found in the middle of the picturesque North Downs, Wye is one of Kent’s most charming villages, combining history, natural beauty, and a thriving community. The High Street collection is situated in a prime location, right in the heart of the village. Residents will be within walking distance of a post office, a bakery, several excellent pubs, and the fortnightly farmers market, as well as being close to excellent private and state schooling.
Wye is also perfectly situated in terms of being accessible to other destinations across Kent and the Southeast. The local train station is a 10-minute walk from the Wye College Collection, and Ashford is just a short drive away, where fast services are available to London.
Duncan Brisbane, Development Director at TT Group comments:
“This launch is the culmination of years of work by TT Group, in conjunction with local stakeholders, to ensure that this part of Wye, which was previously such a hive of activity, will once again become a feature of community life. A huge amount of thought and effort has gone into the restoration and repurposing of the former Wye College to deliver contemporary, modern homes that do justice to this historic and beautiful collection of buildings.”
James Brine, Director of Strutt & Parker’s Southeast new homes team, comments:
“Wye is often dubbed as a ‘super village’ as it ticks so many boxes for buyers. But, in recent years, we’ve seen a lack of good housing launched to the market here. It’s therefore unsurprising that we’ve seen a large amount of interest in the first stage of the development, with much of this coming from those already living in the local area – many of whom have been waiting in the wings for their opportunity to snap up a property in the village itself. It shows there is an incredibly positive outlook for when the rest of the development launches later this year.”
