TT Group annual golf day 2024

On Thursday, 5th September, we hosted our annual golf day for the 24th time at Nizels Golf Club. For the past 23 events, the weather has been, if anything, too hot. We were due for one with bad weather, and unfortunately, this year we received it. Ten four-ball teams braved the rain in the morning, while others participated in a lesson split between driving and putting.

Duncan Brisbane, Director in TT Group’s Development team, was the home team winner and recipient of the cup (although questions were once again raised regarding the handicap played—sound familiar from last year, Dimitri?).

In the afternoon, a fun and inclusive Texas scramble over nine holes was played once the rain eased off, with a great mix of non-golfers and occasional golfers joining. Two teams shared the win as the rain continued to fall.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day despite the weather, and a big thank you to all who attended, as well as to Janice Woodman and Paul Disley-Tindell for organising the event.
